    Out of the methods that are being used to improve high school outcomes, Career Technical Education, which is also known as CTE has received much attention. In fact, most of the high schools around the country have combined CTE with college preparatory coursework. Therefore, it is important to have a look at the impact of it to the high school students. In fact, the impact caused on graduation rates by CTE has become a highly debated topic in today’s world.

    First of all, it is important to pay attention towards the factors that have led relevant authorities to combine CTE with the high school curriculum. They have the potential to make high school education more meaningful for the students. In addition, they are in a position to motivate the students and increase the graduation rates. CTE programs can also prepare the students for a variety of postsecondary options.

    Preparing high school students to career positions in the industry can be done in several ways. There are high school students who manage to complete all their academic coursework along with a career technical sequence. These influences can be seen even today as well. The most comprehensive high schools out there have career academics combined to the traditional coursework.
